Yesterday I'm craving for something crunchy and i googled up in the internet and i found people making chips with flax-seed. Most of them making savoury chips, but i prefer something that is "sweet". Since i can't eat sweet stuff, i cheat to myself a lil bit. I'm making chocolate taste chips. It does not really sweet but it do have chocolate taste. :)
Some of the chips might taste a lil bit burn, so i'll suggest you dip in something sweet like jam/mayonis (if savoury)..
Bahan2:
- 1 cup of FlaxSeed (nicely grind)
- 1 tsp of baking powder
- 2 tbsp of chocolate powder (unsweetened- Hershey)
- 2 tsp of chocolate essence(up to you if you want to make more chocolatier!)
- 3 spoon of almond (nicely grind)
- 1/3 of water
- 2 paket of stevia sugar
- Pinch of Salt
Cara2:
- Heat up your oven first to 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
- Mix the dry ingrediant.
- Add the chocolate essence and mix.
- Pour water bit by bit until become a soft dough.
- Put in fridge and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- The dough will become a bit sticky. So i'll suggest you to use baking sheet to mold the dough. Take 2 pieces of baking sheets, then put one at the bottom, and pour the ingredients and cover with another sheet.
- Then you are ready to roll up the dough.
- Make sure you roll the dough as thin as possible because we want it to be crispier~!
- Slice the dough in shapes
- Bake in the oven for 10-15 minute with 230 degrees.
- Once done, let it cool for a bit and stored in air tight container.
* TIPS: How to check whether if the chips crisp, press in the middle of the chips. If the dough still soft, put in the oven for another 5 minutes.
